28 years ago, I started my cybersecurity journey in a packed lecture hall, inspired by Chris Christie, an Air Force Office of Special Investigations cybercrime expert.
Since then, I've worked in various cyber roles, including incident response, vulnerability management, security engineering, governance, risk, and compliance, and as a cybersecurity instructor.
My most rewarding job was teaching at and building the Air Force cyber schoolhouse, where I mentored new cybersecurity professionals and was recognized as an Instructor of the Year.
In 2023, I launched Cyber Results LLC to continue helping new cyber professionals. The need for cybersecurity experts has only grown more urgent over the years. My experience in the military and federal government taught me that our adversaries are relentless and innovative.
